Bells and Ringing

We are very fortunate at Ratby Church to have 8 bells in our tower - please see the pictures below of our bells and the ringing chamber with information about them in the table opposite.

We have ringing practice on a Friday evening.
We ring from 7.30-9pm on a Friday evening when there is no cinema, when there is [in term-time it is the 3rd Friday of each month] we ring from 8-9pm.
We ring on a Sunday morning from 9.25 for the 10am service.
We occasionally have other specific ringing practices and welcome anyone who wishes to learn to ring. Please contact our Tower Captain - Anthony Haywood - if your would like to join us.

The picture on the left shows the ringing chamber with the ropes [the green/red/white fluffy bits are the sallies] which allow us to ring the 8 bells in the belfry
